Welcome to Wichita Workcamp! 

With the summer of 2008 behind us, we left behind 5 homes completely scraped and re-painted all to the glory of God and His kingdom.  If you came in 2008, we hope you'll join us again in 2009.  If you've never come to Wichita Workcamp, consider this your invitation to join us in letting God use our hands and feet in the community of Wichita, KS. Workcamp 2009 will be on June 8-12.

This year will be the 2nd year for a week-long service project where area churches of Christ come together as the body of Christ to live and love like Jesus.

Wichita Workcamp is your opportunity to put the principle of Christ-like service into action.  Christians are called by Jesus to live a life of service.  Jesus commanded it this way “…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."  (Matthew 20:26-28). 

WWC is an annual service project sponsored by the Wichita area Churches of Christ that brings teenagers, college students, and adults together to repair, scrape, and paint homes for people in need. Workers pay a fee to participate which covers the cost of supplies and enables us to paint each house for free. This year, Workcamp will be based at the Northside Church of Christ.

Our slogan is “Serving God By Serving People.” We hope you will join us on June 8-12 for a weeklong adventure that will make a lifelong impact.
